Khrystle Bullock
Community Engagement Project Manager
Khrystle (She/Her/Hers) serves as the Project Manager for Amplify Charlotte. Khrystle is a public health practitioner with experience in health disparities research, climate and environmental justice and community and civic engagement. She received her B.S. in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a M.S. in Neuroscience with a concentration in health disparities from Wake Forest University. She has 5 years of project management experience across the federal government, academia, and grassroots sector. Her philosophy around community engagement is "one must see themselves as a member of the community rather than a spectator coming in to save a community. Effective community engagement means to listen, learn and equip community members to be the heroes of their own story".
